This is a stunning, fully restored, 19th century mahogany Continental Savonarola chair of excellent quality. The arms have a repeat pattern carving with fantastic lion head terminals and a wonderful patina. The X frame continues with a repeat pattern carving supported by a pair of turned stretchers ending in brass ball bearing casters. The chair consists of a three plank shaped seat and beautiful upholstered back.
