This is a very good quality ItalianVictorian hand carved and gilded frame in excellent order. The sight aperture measures by 28 and a quarter inches by 22 and an eighth when viewed from the front. At the back including the recessed section the opening is 23 and a half inches by 29 and a half inches. The frame measures 40" by 33" and a half inches overall. This dates from around 1870 and is one of a pair available.
