19th century Dutch marquetry armchair Dutch marquetry antique armchair desk chair %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Very decorative and a super example of an early 19th century Dutch marquetry armchair or “elbow” chair with a vintage green leather drop in seat which is rather lovely too.
Wonderful rich colour to the mahogany and contrasts with the marquetry.
This is a comfortable armchair, suitable for use as a desk chair or certainly as an occasional additional living room chair. The frame is solid and the seat has been restored so is all stable.
Some age related marks here and there as you would expect.
Measuring:
45 1/2 inches or 115.5 cm maximum height
23 1/2 inches or 59.5 cm maximum width
20 inches or 51 cm maximum depth
19 inches or 48 cm seat height
28 1/4 inches or 70cm arm height
18 1/2 inches or 47 cm between the arms
