19th Century life size carved oak religious sculpture of an Angel Head with decorative wings.

Beautifully carved with great detail and character, and a highly decorative display piece.

Probably German. C. 1880.

Hook on reverse for wall hanging.

Possibly once part of a larger carved church display.

Generally good condition. Some wood cracks appropriate to age. Glue and wood filler repair to the tip of lower wing.

Provenance: German Antique market.
