19th Century Antique William Morris Sussex Armchair

This is a beautiful, very original antique Sussex armchair, desined by Ford Maddox Brown for William Morris around 1870. A more unusual design as this antique Sussex chair has always had an upholstered seat, rather than rushed and it is upholstered in old William Morris fabric. In superb condition, all solid and complete and still in the original ebonised finish. A lovely piece, perfect height for dining or usuing as a desk chair, comfortable and an ample size.

Shipping information

How much is delivery and how long does it take?
We can arrange delivery throughout England, Wales and Scotland. If you would like a delivery quote, please contact us with your postcode and we will get back to you with a price. Delivery is usually within 10 working days.

Standard delivery is with a one man courier and it is a door to door service. If you require a two man courier, please let us know at the time of purchase.

Smaller items will be sent with a parcel courier. We wrap and book parcels in once a week on Thursdays. If you require an item quickly, please let us know and we can arrange this.

We can provide an overseas shipping service.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we can arrange shipping to most countries. Please contact us with your country and area code if you would like a quote.

Terms and conditions

We offer a 14 day return service if you are not happy with the item. This is providing that items are returned within 14 days and are in the same condition that they left us in. The cost of returning the goods must be covered by you. We will refund you on the items return.

In the rare occurance of damage in transit, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt of the item.
