19th Century Antique Housekeeper's Cupboard
19th Century Antique Housekeeper's Cupboard.
This is a rare example of an antique Derbyshire housekeeper's cupboard, lovely quality throughout this piece of antique furniture.
dating from around 1840, in pine with two sliding doors in the top section, each door having three arched panels with carved decorations.Behind the doors are two fixed storage shelves.
A row of small drawers add another storage option.
Flanking each side are twisted and turned quarter columns, this is mirrored in the lower multi drawer base.
The base of this antique housekeeper's cupboard has six drawers which garduate in size, all have matching knob handles and all the drawers run well.
A stunning English antique housekeeper's cupboard, in a beautiful blue paint finish.
In very good condition, it splits into two sections at the waist.
