An unusual early Victorian Lacquered Snuff Box,cound be Papier Mache?The quality Hinged Lid is Mounted with oval Amethyst Cabachon enclosed in Gilt mount, the lifting piece for lid is also Gilt with fine scrolled detail. Opens to reveal remains of Lining. Dimensions are:-11 x 10.5cms. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
