We have for sale a truly lovely large 1980s Christian Dior gold plated brooch.

This statement piece large gold plated rope design brooch is 3.7 inches long (9.4cm) long and is finished with a with a pin and rollover clasp to the reverse. The back of the brooch is signed in two places, Chr.Dior© at the left hand end and Germany at the right hand end indicating that the brooch was manufactured for Christian Dior by Henkel & Grossé at their factory in Pforzheim, Germany. The association between Dior and Henkel and Grossé was formed in 1957 and continued right up until 2006 when the factory in Pforzheim was taken over by Christian Dior.

The Brooch is in an a very good to excellent condition with fully intact gold plating and only minimal signs of wear consistent with 45 years of careful occasional use.
