A 1975 Audemars Piguet 18K gold 'ultra thin' wristwatch. An off white dial with applied gilt batons and slim gold hands. An 18K gold case in a classical design with a flat bezel and straight lugs. The inner case back is signed by makers and shows London import marks for 1975. A caliber 2003 Audemars Piguet mechanism, which was the thinnest mechanism in the world measuring at 1.64mm thick. This mechanism is a truly remarkable example of Swiss watchmaking. The watch is fitted to an Audemars Piguet strap with an 18K gold buckle. Complete with its original box, this is a particularly rare find. London hallmarks for 1975.
