This vintage powder compact is suitable for use with modern loose face powder.
A hard to find ballet compact in very good condition with the original puff & sifter. The lid shows three ladies in tutus. The powder well is gilded, pretty & clean. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror gives an excellent reflection. I have included a super close-up image so that you may examine the mirror which has slight silver loss at the very top & some minor age related blemishes, but nothing that would spoil the enjoyment of this very pretty compact mirror. The base has an attractive engine turned design.
This vintage Dorset Fifth Avenue compact mirror measures 3 1/2" & weighs 67.3 grams.
