1940's heavily carved Wainscott armchair. The back being carved with a mythical beast crest supported by spandrel's over a lunette frieze, below this is above a double lozenge panel which surmounts a larger panel carved in the form of a large flower and scrolled leaves confined to a vase. It has scrolled arms and turned stretchers.

Lovely colour, other than one arm is discoloured on the outside. There is a split in the seat along the join. some minor signs of wear, scuffs knocks etc.

Approx. 27.5" wide x 20" deep x 50" high. Seat 21.5" wide x 16.5" deep. Height to seat 18.5".
