A pair of stunning 1920s solid bronze bookends. They have a wonderful patina and sheen and are in excellent condition. The casting is superb and depicts a young lady taking a drink from a water fountain. On the back of the bookends is stamped 'solid bronze'. Each bookend stands 13.5 cm tall, has a width of 11.2cm, and is 5.2cm deep.
