18thC Estate Made Plum Painted Pine Cupboard

The plum painted pine carcass, almost certainly estate made and largely of the Georgian period, retaining its original iron handles to the flanks, to two fielded paneled cupboard doors opening to reveal a vacant interior, the shelves and drawers now lacking, the whole with an attractive patination, to later blocks and brass concealed castors and surviving in unrestored condition from George III period England.
The piece shows some attractive wear and tear with scuffing and losses commensurate with its age with the whole in largely original order and with the carcass structurally sound though with some losses. It may well have been part of a larger piece of antique furniture at some stage and the construction points to it being almost certainly made on an English country estate. There are attractive iron strut supports to the rear corners. It could have drawers and shelves re-added.
Finding an estate made Georgian period piece such in a painted finish is always pleasing in its own right, though the paint is probably Victorian. This example would work well to store any number of items. Having handles and castors it was obviously made to be portable.
A curious piece in a great colour that could be put to use in a variety of ways.
