18th Century Wine Glass.
A fine example of a wine glass from the 1760s. Not a stylish opaque twist specimen, but a glass probably at yeoman level, a middle class glass. It is not short on quality though, a considerable lead content means this little glass weighs in at 200 grams. There is the snapped pontil mark and considerable wear to the foot, as you would hope for in a 250 year old glass.
