18th Century Welsh Primitive Spinning Stool %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A fun late 18th century welsh ash and elm spinning stool with traces of original green paint

A quirky stool ,elm solid seat with four staked legs and a back spindle.

One of the legs has been restaked ,it is the original leg just tighten at some stage, the back stake is loose when lifted as is common on these and the seat has split and been crudely repaired,so all in all a hard life.

But a good looking piece or rural life
