Technical Description

18th century opaque twist wine glass. The rare bucket bowl rests upon a double series opaque twist stem. The stem is comprised of a multi-ply spiral band outside a pair of spiral threads. A conical foot with a rough pontil supports the glass. This piece is of a soda glass construction.

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time George III became King of Great Britain on the 23rd of October 1760.
