Very unusual 18th century Lancashire or Yorkshire solid walnut "Drunkards Chair". I have never seen the style of legs on this example before on any drunkards chair I have seen before, very unusual. The back is the usual design with all the nicely turned spindles. The chair has very unusual turned type legs with carved decoration and original brass castors. The chair is in pretty good condition and is a lovely colour with original patination.
