A charming 18th cent.White Bilston Enamel Box of Oval Form. The top has written 'A Pledge of Love' and is bordered with painted Flowers and a sprig of Blue Flowers. On the side are also Painted Flowers.It has a hinged ormolu mounted top with strong clip. It opens to reveal Mirror in the Lid.Dimensions are:-4cms x 3.3cms.x 2.3cms.(max).Overall the enamelling has minor crazing.c.1790 I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
