Sapphire and Diamond ring.
Circa 1990s
Size M1/2
The sapphire is a medium blue.
Approximately .24ct Diamonds.
One central round sapphire surrounded by 12 round diamonds.
All gems in a collet setting, often called rub over setting.
Yellow metal stamped 18ct but not hallmarked.
There are surface marks associated with normal use and age.
Approximate dimensions: setting diameter 10.5mm, sapphire diameter 4.8mm, band 1.7mm wide and .9mm thick, weight 2.8 grams.
