'The Village Of Kilburn' (Lancashire) by Emily M. Prowde. Titled, signed and dated '1895' verso.

An attractive and well executed oil depicting a country lane with geese and a mother waving her two children off to school. The work is housed in a gilt wood frame of the period. There is a small loss to the lower left corner of the frame (please see photographs). The work itself remains in a very good condition throughout.
