Thirteen volumes from a larger set of The Works of Thackeray with all thirteen titles complete in one single volume, contents consist of novels, essays, ballads tales, travels etc
All hardbacks bound in the original gilt decoratd bindings with gilt initials to front & rear boards, frontis to several volumes with numerous illustrations that are full page & among text to most volumes
Each book measures approx 9 x 6 inches
Some minor wear at top & bottom of spines with a small tear to top of spine on the four georges, three volumes with cracks to inner front or rear hinges but with all boards firmly attached, occasional browning to pages or to page margins, these books are unread with a number of pages still uncut but an easy fix with a sharp blade,
Overall in very nice condition with gilt to all covers bright & majority of pages clean
