1838 The History Of Greece by William Mitford
'The History of Greece' by William Mitford Esq. Published in London, 1838.
Complete in eight volumes, each three quarter bound in green leather with red and black title panels, gilt stamped decoration and five rasied bands ot the spine. Marbled boards and edges. All volumes are in a very good condition externally.
Internally, each volume has marbled pastedowns and endpapers. Small ink inscription to the flyleaf of Volume I together with some pencil inscriptions and an ink stamp. There is some browning to the preliminary pages, otherwise all pages remain in a very good condition.
