17th Century Seal Top Spoon wonderful Patination
A lovely example of an English seal top spoon with fig shaped bowl and baluster top, no initials pounced in the top. A few little scratches are evident around the bowl, looking at the patination I would imagine this was excavated many years ago. The makers mark is quite worn but in the Hilton Price Book there is one very similar and denotes the spoon as latten?
No breakages just a little iron stain on the stem. Size 15.5cm long X 4.3cm across the bowl. Overseas buyers please get Intouch for postage price, thank you.
