17C 18C high back oak hall side dining chair
Antique very high back oak hall side dining feature chair with 18th Century (or even earlier) origins.
The chair has the most lovely colour age and patina.
This chair has had a lot of repairs and alterations over the years and it is quite hard to tell how much (probably not very much) of the chair is original. This being said it is solid, not too wobbly, usable and looks fantastic.
Rare, unusual and ornate, with a great Queen Anne look.
A solid chair with no wobbles.
Overall dimensions 450mmW x 440mmD x 1090mmH x 430mmH seat.
There are historic knocks, marks, repairs and alterations, as are to be expected with a chair of this age. There are quite a lot of historic woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure.
