Horse-riding / equestrian interest - a 14 carat gold brooch/pin formed as a riding crop mounted with a horseshoe.

This is a particularly well-modelled and -crafted example - featuring chased decoration simulating a horn handle and a rippled, chased keeper, together with a grooved horseshoe. It is fitted with a pin and safety catch, which is marked 14K. From its marking and design, the pin is probably USA - about 1920. Ca50x16mm, 3.9g
I trade in small silver, jewellery and objets d'art. I sell primarily at antiques fairs and in cabinets in Christique Antique Centre in Dorking.
