Artist Enoch CroslandExhibited 1880-1890
Superb quality oil painting of a Derbyshire scene. I think it could be Derbyshire because it was purchased at a local Derbyshire auction house and they described it as being a local scene. Enoch Crosland N.S.A was a local artist to the Nottingham/Derby area of England. He exhibited at many leading galleries and academy's
The images are the best I can achieve due to the bounce back from the flash. This may also effect the colours.
Condition The picture is in good condition, just a very slight raising to a small area of the panel - see images. The frame is original and has some loss of gilding. I have not replaced the frame because it may be the original, its just as it has arrived.
