Since 2004, I have been acquiring mainly modest but sound pieces of Antique, Period, Reproduction, Retro & Vintage Second-Hand furniture requiring, on the whole, only minor cleaning, repairs & restoration, in order to bring them up to 'shop' standard. I love the craftsmanship and elegance of antique, so-called ‘brown’ furniture and generally leave the ‘shabby chic’ to others, except where condition is an issue and the only way to breath new life into a piece is to re-finish in paint.
