I am a City & Guilds qualified upholsterer. I was a bespoke upholsterer working for individual clients but have been collecting antique chairs for a number of years - mostly from auctions and antique fairs. I am now doing up these chairs (if they need it) and selling them at an Antiques Centre in Dorking and on Etsy. This was working well but the sales are not as high as I would like - even though I have reduced the prices to the minimun I would be happy with. The armchairs I have restored and reupholstered are mostly Victorian but I also have Georgian side chairs and dining chairs in my collection.
