A 19th c metal bound treen Imperial 8 gallon grain measure.Original condition..Stamped VR, Imperial, and 8 gallons.
A cleverly constructed from a single piece of timber, this working measure is a very fine example of English rural craftsmanship from the 19 th century. Very solid, can be used in the garden, conservatory, or for logs and kindling.
Size 30h by 33w approx.
Dunkeld Antiques has been in business since 1986, operating out of premises in the village of Dunkeld in Perthshire, which had a stock of good antiques , out of print books and decorative items.
