Very unusual mid 20th.c. upholstered wrought iron and brass bench or hall seat c.1950. Elaborately shaped backrest with a wrought iron cresting rail over buttoned green velvet upholstery. The seat is divided into three with arms raised on brass columns with large pommels repeated on the backrest. Wrought frame with gold painted daisy heads to the front and brass mesh panels enclosing the base. Unusually there is access to the base via a small door in each end of the seat. Raised on brass pommel feet. Excellent quality and condition with serviceable covers.
