Vintage Pharmaceutical Dispenser
A vintage wooden pharmaceutical display dispenser for the Allied Chemical Company. This piece is a wall mounted coin (6d) operated dispenser with the original containers holding various tablets etc. The oak back case has a central mirror with a clear glass panel below showing the coloured containers with a coin slot which would release the aluminium pull and dispense your tablet etc. The dispenser is labelled up for Stomach Tablets, Throat Tablets, Stocking Ladderstop Pencils, Sodamint Tablets, Aspirin Tablets. This item is un-restored and in the condition we bought it apart from the huge amounts of dust and grime that had built up over the years! There are parts missing that would need to replaced if you wanted it fully restored. Please note we highly recommend that the contents of the containers are not consumed.
