Superb quality Vintage Mahogany & Copper domed Beef carvery trolley.Similar trolleys are still used at Simpsons in the Strand & the Savoy Hotel. The Copper dome which has steam vents at the top also rotates to reveal a stainless steel spiked carving surface with circular reservoir for meat juices. This carving surface sits above a Bain Marie to keep foods hot.There is a holder for the spirit heater, this heater is missing,at the front of the trolley you will see a removable copper plate holder & a copper Jus holder both of which swivel.There is a tap below the Bain Marie for drainage .
The trolley moves on 4 indepent casters which are all lockable & patent number 1231381 can be seen on the locks.
