Very Decorative Vintage Sunburst Gilt Metal Mirror
Very decorative and great size gilt toleware Spanish sunburst mirror in good condition.
Hand beaten tin to form the sunburst leaves surrounding the frame.
This mirror has had a new mirror plate fitted, so the mirror glass itself is flawless.
Great proportions to this sunburst mirror, suitable to free hang as shown here, but also a good size to hang over a console table for example.
Very easy to hang and being a lightweight mirror, a secure picture hook will be fine, but a screw fitting is always preferable.
Measuring:
25 1/2 inches or 65 cm outside diameter
15 3/4 inches or 40 cm mirror diameter
1 1/2 inches or 4 cm depth Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
