Superb Early Victorian Vanity Mirror - Candle Sconces - c1850

A gorgeous Victorian English Dressing Mirror in light mahogany and benefiting from fabulous brass candle sconces.

This mirror is in excellent order throughout. A veneered serpentine plinth supports the scroll arm uprights.

With original brass fittings and mirror plate combined with the desirable mid-tones of the flame mahogany producing an exceptional example.

The mirror plate displays sought after light foxing and it is perfect as an everyday mirror or simply as a feature item.

The double stepped plinth sits over flat bun feet.

Candle sconces offer an extra dimension to this mirror and the beautiful cast scroll detail within the brass further marks the mirror out as one of quality.

Overall a nicely proportioned and attractive mirror in excellent antique order which will be wonderful in any home or collection.
