Silver & Mother of Pearl, mid-Victorian Fruit Knife & Nut Pick

The maker`s mark - TM for Thomas Marples, Arundel Street,
Sheffield.
A superb, large fruit knife & nut pick in excellent unused condition.
Both blades open and close correctly - snaps at 180 degrees,90 degrees, and snaps closed. It doesn`t need any work - it`s great and ready to go.

Attractive shaped Mother of Pearl scales to both sides, and with silver hinge facings.. A silver, rectangular cartouche in the centre of the MoP, with the original owner`s initials -
C R P
Excellent hallmarks and clean deep thumb nail grooves.

Superb unused condition, throughout. 147 years old.
