Sailors Woolwork Sailor Woolwork
This is a lovely 19th Century Sailor's Woolwork.

The work depicts a three masted, square rigged gun ship in full sail, with the white ensign of the Royal Navy flying astern.
Along the horizon, is a promontory of land and lighthouse, shining out.

The frame is oak, and missing its glass. The reverse of the frame retains it original paper backing.
