Roman Tile With Dog's Paw Print
Love these conversation pieces, large part of a Roman red clay tile with a well defined dog paw print.
When the tiles were made they were normally left out in the sun to dry before firing, hence the print.
Mounted for display on a piece of slightly unfinished mahogany with an aged lime look to it, I think it works quite well.
Total height with stand 22.5cm, tile is 16cm.
