Description:
This is a stunning quality English Georgian Regency style solid mahogany & brown leather swivel office armchair, circa 1970, in excellent condition. The armchair has been newly upholstered, to a professional standard, in top quality full grain brown leather, finished with a deep buttoned back, sprung seat, hand tacked with brass studs. The chair features a shaped back, which connects to padded arms, which are raised on foliate carved, fluted down swept supports. The armchair boasts a stuff over sprung seat, which is very comfortable to sit on, but you do not sink into it. The chair is raised on splayed fluted legs, which terminate on brass castors. The chair also features a revolving mechanism, allowing the chair to rotate 360 degrees. This brown leather office chair is solid in joint and ready to use.
The chair displays a rich mahogany colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination, which can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

It has been newly upholstered, to a professional standard, in top quality full grain brown leather, finished with traditional hessian backing to the underside therefore, the leather is in very good condition, with no signs of wear, tear or damage. Nominal old use marks and colour variation to the leading edges of the mahogany frame, but nothing significant, considering the age of the item. The chair revolving mechanism is fully working and rotates 360 degrees. The chair sits on the original brass castors, which are in excellent condition. The chair is solid in joint, very heavy (sign of quality) and ready to use.
