Regency Style Leather Top Mahogany Sofa Table
A wonderful antique mahogany drop leaf sofa table with an inset leather top. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1950’s.

The quality is outstanding, this is beautifully made and has lots of fine features. The gold tooled leather top has a gorgeous light tan colour and patina. The drawers have original brass handles, and have solid oak internal construction with very fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. The top drop down ends lift up with supports to extend the top area significantly. This has a stretchered base with sabre legs, terminating in brass hairy paw casters. It is also nicely polished on the back, so can be used as a free standing item.

We have recently had this revived and re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age.
