Great size Regency simulated rosewood overmantle mirror with original mirror glass, circa 1820 and in good condition.
The simulated rosewood frame has a fine reeded frame which is also lacquered so it has a lovely finish. Also stands on white ceramic feet as this mirror is intended to rest on your mantle piece. However, if you would rather hang this mirror rather than rest it on a mantle, the ceramic feet just unscrew.
Well proportioned and in good condition, great value too for a 200 year old mirror!

27 inches or 68.5 cm high
40 inches or 101.5 cm wide
22 1/4 inches or 56.5 cm mirror glass height
34 1/4 inches or 87 cm mirror glass width Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
