Pair of 1894 hallmarked dressing table hand mirrors. These items were made by R&W Sorley Glasgow silversmith. They have a delicate but finely fretwork decorated edges topped by a engraved motive carrying the latin inscription 'Signum pacis amor'.

The glass is not I believe the original but does not detract from the beauty of these items. Each mirror measures a total length of 9.5" with the main body being 5.5" x 3.75". They are not heavy as befits such delicate items. Trade enquiries welcomed.
