Fabulous Art Deco painted console mirror and table dated 1928. 35" x 59" mirror with a bevelled edge in a tall arched frame with carved flower heads, leaves and crossed ribbon detail. Filling the arch over the mirror is a beautiful hand painted Mediterranean coastal landscape scene, signed in the lower left hand corner and dated 1928. Gilded moulding and floral swags across the top of the mirror. The mirror sits over a 33" tall console table with a well figured marble top and rounded ends. Carved floral frieze running around the apron below the top and raised on slim reeded legs front and rear with small ball finial feet. Mirror and console are both painted in pale blues and greys with bronze detail. Presented as found, with some minor wear to the paintwork, generally very good condition.
