Description: Ancient Neapolitan Empire frame in gilded and carved wood belonging to the early 19th century.

The entire structure is embellished with three orders of palmette carvings typical of the Empire period to which it belongs.

The gilding is 24kt leaf gold on an Armenian bole layer.

Provenance: Naples, early 19th century.

External Measurements: 75x64cm.

Internal measurements: 63.5x52.5cm.
