Mid Century Small Low Chair For Reupholstery
An attractive small chair. We date this chair to the mid 20th century.
The chair sits on four downward tapered round section legs.
The chair has a well padded seat cushion and a buttoned backrest, it is upholstered in a patterned beige and brown fabric.
The chair has an overall height of 27.5" (70cm), an overall width of 23" (59cm), an overall depth of 25" (64cm), a backrest height of 14" (35cm), a seat height of 15.5" (40cm), a seat width of 18" (46cm) and a seat depth of 16.5" (42cm).
The chair is in good condition with surface marks commensurate with age and usage, there is some wear to the fabric on the seat pad and the top and corners of the backrest. There is some minor wear to the legs. Although it is perfectly usable as is, it would provide an ideal reupholstery project for someone with the requisite skills.
This remains a very stylish and elegant chair. It is very comfortable to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
