Unusual marble top and painted dining table c.1950. Beautifully figured single piece marble top, big enough to seat six people. With shaped ends and moulded edges. On a painted wooden base with moulded detail to the apron, raised on tapering square legs with carved feet. Presented as found, with a couple of chips and some light scratches to the marble and obvious wear to the paint work which is worn and rubbed through in places. Otherwise good condition, solid and sturdy.
