Mid 20th.c. Chinese elm coffee table c.1960. Single piece top within a cleated frame over four drawers and a useful low shelf for magazines etc with two loose lattice grills. Moulded drawer fronts, with brass handles and large decorative back plates, repeated as fixed panels on the sides and rear of the table. Well figured timbers and a lovely mellow honey coloured finish. Excellent condition, with a repair to the top, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
