Elegant large late 19th.c. gilded over mantle mirror c.1890. 32″ x 42″ mirror plate with in a slim gilded frame with moulded gesso decoration. Swan neck pediment with foliate detail, acanthus finials ot the top corners and scrolling brackets at the base over an unusual mahogany plinth. Some obvious damage to the pediment, otherwise very good condition with original gilding. The mirror plate would appear to be a modern replacement.
