A beautiful large decorative French chateau painted mirror circa 1860/80 in rubbed down and waxed old paint .The frame and scrolled oeil de boeuf cartouche and deep relief laurel leaf decoration is in very good condition with deep relief detail ,the mercury backed mirror plate is the original and whilst it has some foxing and small scratches commensurate with age and use it is good order with clear reflection given its age and originality ,the panelled back also the original and good order .A great leaner or hanging mirror to brighten any hall or room
