Fine Quality Victorian Art Nouveau period Dutch Silver Casket measuring approx 12 cm in length by 8 cm and stands approx 6.5 cm in height and weighs approx 303 grams .The Casket has a Tavern scene in high relief to the hinged cover while the side panels are embossed with a scrolling foliage pattern and the box stands on four paw feet.The box is fully and clearly Hallmarked and carries the import marks for Samuel Boyce (or Boaz) Landeck London 1891 together with Dutch Hallmarks for 930 silver a higher grade than the normal 925 sterling silver and to the inside of the lid a Dutch date letter for 1891.

In very good condition with little wear for its age, the cover is still well defined as is the side panels. Sits well balanced with no wobbling. A Good heavy box weighing over 300 grams with high quality grade silver at 930 Grade.
