Large Antique Overmantel Mirror Large Antique Ornate %%alt5%%
A mid 19th c. English gilt composition overmantel mirror in the Adam style. The arched rectangular mirror plate within a scrolling ribbon and leaf moulding flanked by fluted and beaded columns clasped by acanthus leaves and surmounted by an oval cartouche. Re- gilded by master gilders. The bevelled glass plate has been replaced, the original very faded plate is still available if preferred. Excellent condition.
